Parks on Tap
April 25-September 30th
Get your daily dose of Vitamin D while enjoying an alcoholic beverage and delicious food at Parks on Tap. From Wednesday to Sunday each week you can enjoy some of Philadelphia’s best parks. It’s one of the best things to do in Philadelphia after a long day at the office or just to catch up with friends.
Philadelphia Black Pride
April 26-29th
Celebrate culture and diversity at the Philadelphia Black Pride weekend celebration. People of al genders, races, and sexual orientation are welcomed and encouraged to participate in the weekend’s lively events. El Carnaval de Puebla
April 29th

Flavors on the Avenue
April 29th
Just a few blocks away from El Carnaval de Puebla, you’ll find Flavors on the Avenue along east Passyunk Avenue. As you walk along the avenue, stop and try small bites from local restaurants such as Bing Bing Dim Sum, Essen Bakery, Le Virtù, and many more. Most foods range from $3-$6. Come hungry!
Chinese Lantern Festival
May 1-June 30th
Admire colorful paper lanterns at the Chinese Lantern Festival in Franklin Square Park towards the end of Spring. Thousands of lights fill the park during the festival. Walk around a large dragon as you enjoy draft beers and cocktails, grilled corn, soba noodle salad, and more. You can also see performances over the weekend such as juggling, water spinning, and contortion.
South Street Spring Festival
May 5th
Head over to South Street for its annual South Street Spring Festival, where you can grab quick bites from local vendors and sip on draft beer and cocktails. Dance to live music with your friends and family around the Maypole and welcome spring with open arms.
Broad Street Run
May 6th
If you aren’t running the 10 miles of the Broad Street Run, stand on the sidelines and support your fellow Philadelphians. Starting from Olney Avenue and finishing at the Navy Yard, thousands of runners will sweat on Broad Street. Cheer them on or take part!
