Fairmount Bicycles opened a second location in Brewerytown at 2819 Girard Avenue. Brewerytown Bicycles will offer the sale of new and used mountain, commuter and recreational bikes as well as all biking accessories and miscellaneous gear. Scheduled mountain bike rides will be posted April through November during good weather. For those needing and desiring rental bikes, stay tuned!

There is a very competent maintenance and service department at Brewerytown Bicycles that can handle any model you own, whether vintage or modern. If you want to learn more about maintaining your own bike, classes will be scheduled that will include topics such as brake adjustments, wheel and bearing assemblies, and fixing flat tires.
Did you ever ride a Surly Pugsley Fat all-weather bike? Go in and take a look at this fun bike, named after the chubby Pugsley Addams of Addams Family fame. The bike is made with large volume, low pressure tires than can maneuver over all kinds of un-rideable terrain like wet sand, mud, ice, snow and ground packed with roots and rocks.
