You’re probably feeling and heat and wishing summer would come to an end, but there are so many things to do in Philly during the summer that we never want it to end! We’ve come up with a list of the top things to do while enjoying your summer in the city to stay cool and socialize.

Get over that humpday slump and go out for discounted drinks at dozens of bars and restaurants in the Center City district. Enjoy a glass of wine for $4, a cold beer for $3, and specialty cocktails along with tasty appetizers. Get together with old friends or move your office buddies away from their desks and enjoy the sunshine and a drink.
September 2nd – 3rd
This massive celebration takes on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway during Labor Day weekend. Created by Jay-Z, the lineup never disappoints. This just proves that you don’t have to go outside of the city to attend a beloved musical festival.
East Passyunk Car Show & Street Festival

Baltimore Avenue Dollar Stroll
September 7th

Summer Concert Series at Penn’s Landing
Nothing is better than live music, except listening to live music outside. Enjoy performers all summer long while staring out at the beautiful Ben Franklin bridge and the Delaware River while dancing with friends and loved ones.
Forget sitting in a cold, dark movie theater after paying $15 for a ticket. Sit outside at one of Philadelphia’s many locations to watch the latest releases and classic movies. Locations include Penn’s Landing and Dilworth Park.
This pop-up park is one of our favorites. Stroll under glow sticks hanging from the trees or relax in a hammock while reading a book. Enjoy some delicious food offered by Chickies and Pete’s and Garces while gazing over the Delaware River.
